RSVP for our first membership meeting here!
Two weeks since our historic first contract was ratified by an overwhelming majority of postdocs, we are excited to see that Mount Sinai has committed to implementing our salary raises and retroactive pay in the coming weeks.
Starting soon, it will be critical that all postdocs officially sign up as union members so that we can enforce our new rights and continue fighting for improvements. We will send out details on how to become a member early next week and our first membership meeting will be next Thursday, January 11th, at 12pm, location TBA. The purpose of the meeting will be to answer questions about union membership and for members to discuss and vote on whether to “amalgamate” (join forces and share resources) with Columbia Postdoctoral Workers – UAW Local 4100.
