Our initial bargaining goals have been ratified by 99.6% (280 voting yes to 1 voting no). This result builds on our 89.5% vote to form our union, and gives us a strong mandate to negotiate for needed improvements to our working conditions at Sinai.
The goals were developed based on bargaining surveys filled out by a strong majority of Postdocs, as well as from town halls and in-person discussions. We are very excited to develop more specific proposals that address each of these goals in detail in preparation for negotiations with the Sinai administration. Thank you to everyone who participated in the vote.
