Join fellow postdocs for a Mass Meeting this Friday 11/10!
Since we voted to form our union in June 2022, and more than a year of negotiations, the Sinai administration has consistently stalled bargaining progress and has failed to reach a timely agreement on basic rights and protections and urgent economic issues like housing, childcare, and parental leave.
Join us for a mass meeting this Friday, 11/10 at 12pm to discuss next steps for reaching a fair contract, including setting a strike deadline, if necessary. Please RSVP to let us know if you can attend.
It is clear that we need to increase the pressure on the Sinai administration if we want to avoid further delays to reaching a contract. Just recently, postdoc unions at University of California, University of Washington, and Columbia were able to win strong contracts by preparing to strike and going on strike when necessary.
Our participation matters. The more of us who participate we are, the more strongly we can urge Sinai to reach a fair contract now.
