Sinai postdocs will hold a rally demanding a fair contract with basic workplace rights and protections on Thu Feb 23, 12:30pm in front of Icahn (98th and Madison).

An overwhelming 89.5% of us said YES to our union last June, and we have now been bargaining with Sinai’s administration for over four months. We have reached agreements on a number of proposals, but Sinai has continued to resist scheduling sufficient time at the bargaining table tomake progress on core priorities like a timelyn grievance process, just cause protections for discipline and dismissal, stable and predictable appointments, and stronger protections against discrimination and abuse.
In order to show Sinai that they need to Stop Stalling on Basic Rights and make more progress in bargaining, we will hold a rally on Thursday, February 23 at 12:30pm at 98th St and Madison Ave.
